The American House

This historic guest house has been making guests feel comfortable since the early 1930's. It is truly a home away from home, with all of the charm and elegance of an earlier Victorian era. Enjoy a cozy bed and a gourmet breakfast at the American House, only 15 min. to Tanglewood.

The house was built in 1898. There are four guest rooms and all of the rooms have kept the ambiance of the era with high ceilings, crown moldings, hard wood floors and over sized windows

The Cottage

The Cottage is in the heart of the cultural Berkshire Hills: across the street from Naumkeag House Museum, one block from The Marian's Congregation, 3 miles from Tanglewood Music Festival, I Mile from The Berkshire Theater Festival, The Mission House, and the Red Lion Inn, minutes from The Norman Rockwell Museum. Close to swimming, skiing, and tennis courts.

The Cottage is located on 2 acres with spectacular mountain views, 1 mile from town center. We offer 2-room suites with bedroom, sitting room private bath and private entrance.

The Thaddeus Clapp House, located in the heart of Berkshire County offers unique New England lodging, and is convenient to all the celebrated attractions. Lenox, Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Williamstown are a short drive.

The meticulously restored bed and breakfast mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places and in the Historic District of Pittsfield.
